Creator marketing you can start today
impact.com is a partnership platform with a creator product inside it. GRIN is a creator marketing platform. The practical difference shows up in how far you get before someone has to sell to you.

Confirm planimpact.com publishes pricing, which is more than most platforms in this category do, and it deserves credit for that. But read the buttons rather than the numbers. Starter, at $30 a month, has a signup link. Essentials, Pro, and Enterprise all say "Request a demo." So you can let yourself in. You cannot let yourself grow.
| Their plan | Price | How you buy it |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | from $30/mo | Signup link, self-serve |
| Essentials | from $500/mo | "Request a demo" |
| Pro | from $2,500/mo | "Request a demo" |
| Enterprise | Contact sales for pricing | "Request a demo" |

What that means in practice depends on what you need. Their Starter plan includes automated partner recommendations, promo code and link tracking, product feed automation, and basic reporting. It does not include Marketplace access, which is where their 90,000 partners are, and which starts at $500 a month. It does not include partner discovery by keyword search, which starts at $2,500 a month. Starter also is not available to everyone: their own page states "An eCommerce integration is required," listing Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Adobe Commerce, and Squarespace.
So on the plan you can buy without talking to anyone, you can be shown partners. Looking for them yourself is a paid upgrade, and a conversation.
| Criterion | GRIN | impact.com |
|---|---|---|
| Plans you can buy without a sales call | All five | One of four |
| Creator search on the entry paid plan | Yes | Keyword search starts at $2,500/mo |
| Credit card required to start | No | Yes, at Starter |
| Ecommerce integration required to start | No | Yes, at Starter |

Their pricing page has an FAQ. Two answers in it are worth reading closely, because they are the parts of the price that are not on the page.
On setup:
"Yes, we have a one-time fee that is dependent on the number of technical resources your onboarding requires."
On timing:
"How quickly we can get your program up and running is evaluated on a brand-by-brand basis and will depend on technical resources on your end."
Neither answer contains a number. The setup fee has no amount and no range. The timeline has no date, and it is explicitly a function of your own engineering capacity rather than anything they control. That is the honest answer to give if implementation genuinely varies, and it is also the reason you cannot budget or schedule a launch from their published materials.
There are two more cost levers in the same FAQ. Payout volume is tiered: "If you need to increase payout volume, you can upgrade to a higher payment tier or pay an overage fee." And some capabilities are gated entirely: "to access additional features like Partner Insights Reports or Attribution Risk Protection, you must have the Partnership Cloud Enterprise edition."

As your program drives more revenue, impact.com's transaction fee grows with it. GRIN's does not.
impact.com charges a transaction fee. From their own FAQ: "A 2.5% transaction fee applies only to partner-driven transactions, charged only when a sale occurs." That is fair on its face, and they disclose it plainly, which more vendors should. But look at what it is a percentage of. It is a percentage of the revenue your partners generate. It has no ceiling, and it grows at exactly the rate your program succeeds.
GRIN takes nothing on that. Generate links and discount codes, track GMV, and we take no percentage of the revenue it produces. Our revenue is your plan and the credits Gia uses. So if your creators drive twice the revenue next quarter without you running twice the program, what you pay us does not change.
Subscription costs are additional on both sides and are not included in this table.
| Your partner-driven sales | What impact.com's 2.5% costs you per year | What GRIN takes from that revenue |
|---|---|---|
| $500,000 | $12,500 | $0 |
| $1,000,000 | $25,000 | $0 |
| $5,000,000 | $125,000 | $0 |

The section above is the single biggest difference between these two products over a couple of years, so here is the position underneath it.
"We should only charge you for what we're good at, not what you're good at. We earn by delivering real work, not by taxing outcomes you create."
Ryan Debenham, CEO of GRIN, in The Foundation Nobody Built, April 14, 2026.
If this describes you, they are the right choice and we would rather you knew now than after a sales cycle.
impact.com operates Studio, a managed services arm for influencer programs. You can buy a Jumpstart engagement to build your first campaign, or Service Operations to outsource ongoing campaigns and specific tasks like casting. Their Pro plan includes dedicated customer support, and they run a certification program, the Partnerships Experience Academy. GRIN does not sell a services team. If your plan is to hand creator marketing to a vendor and receive results, they have a real offer for that and we do not.

impact.com's homepage, updated June 10, 2026, leads with "One platform. All partnerships. AI-powered," and calls the product "The AI-native partnership platform powering global commerce."
Their influencer marketing product page, updated December 4, 2025, contains no mention of AI.
We are not claiming they have no AI. We are pointing at the gap between where the AI story is told and where the creator product is described, and suggesting you ask what specifically it does for a creator program, in a demo, before you assume.

Every recommendation on this page is grounded in the same record: a decade of creator programs run on GRIN, and the results they produced.

Yes, at impact.com/integrated-platform-prices. Starter from $30/mo, Essentials from $500/mo, Pro from $2,500/mo, Enterprise on request. Worth knowing: impact.com/pricing redirects to a demo request form, so the pricing table is not where most people will look first.
On their Starter plan, yes, and it requires an ecommerce integration. Essentials, Pro, and Enterprise all direct you to request a demo.
Their published subscription price, plus a 2.5% transaction fee on partner-driven sales, plus a one-time setup fee whose amount they do not publish, plus overage fees if you exceed your tier's payout volume. Per their FAQ, the setup fee "is dependent on the number of technical resources your onboarding requires."
Their FAQ says it "is evaluated on a brand-by-brand basis and will depend on technical resources on your end." No committed timeline is published.
No. We take no percentage of the revenue your creators generate. You pay for the work Gia does, and your program getting bigger does not make our number bigger.
Yes. If you want a vendor's team to operate your creator program for you, impact.com offers managed services and GRIN does not.
