GRIN is once again ranked the top influencer marketing platform on G2. This accomplishment comes after also achieving the number one spot in G2’s 2021 Spring report.

Within each category, G2 publishes a formal report based on verified user reviews, and ranks platforms by order of their G2 scores.

What is a G2 Leader?

This summer, GRIN didn’t just become the overall G2 leader in influencer marketing, it also achieved the top spot for small and mid-sized companies looking for an influencer relationship management platform. By G2’s most recent analysis, GRIN separated itself from the pack of other leading influencer marketing platforms.
G2 Summer Report
G2 uses crowd scoring to compare and plot each platform in a grid (as seen above). The G2 Grid places each software solution within one of four quadrants: 

  • Niche
  • Contenders
  • High Performers
  • Leaders

Additionally, G2 delivers a two-part analysis on every platform in an Index Report and Momentum Report. Based on the results of these reports, G2 rates all features and ranks each software solution according to its all-around excellence.

How crowd scoring works

“G2 scores products and vendors based on reviews gathered from our user community, as well as data aggregated from online sources and social networks. We apply a unique algorithm (v3.0) to this data to calculate the customer Satisfaction and Market Presence scores in real time.” – G2.com

G2 uses a 1-5 star scale system for customers to rate each platform. Verified software users also provide in-depth feedback on the customer experience. Between quantitative (star scores) and qualitative (customer reviews) feedback, platforms receive a performance score of 1-10 based on its performance within each feature category. 

Performance scores take the following factors into account:

  • When customer reviews took place (the more recent the review, the higher G2 weights that review)
  • Verification that the reviewer uses the product
  • The specificity and depth of customer reviews
  • Comments from other G2 community members under each review
  • The quality of the verified user experience (reviewers are encouraged to share screenshots when applicable)

Customers conclude each review with a 1-10 score for how likely they are to refer the platform to an industry peer.
